One of the best things to happen to high street clothes shopping over the years is the introduction of cheaper, low cost alternative versions of catwalk fashion. Traditionally cat walk fashion would be exclusive for the world of the rich and famous, those with more money than sense and time to attend cat walk shows in Milan and Paris while the rest of us sat at home in tracksuits and t shirts.
But now everything has changed. Shops are recruiting designers to ape those cat walk trends, designing clothes and making them more affordable to the masses. It’s been a fantastic movement, as shops like TopShop, H&M, River Island and even Primark compete for people’s hard earned money with great styles and ridiculously low prices. Thankfully, though, the high street fashions and retailers aren’t quite stooping to aping some of the more unique and unusual things to come out of the cat walk fashion weeks.
