Semi-Permanent Hair Colours – Gentle on your Locks

Changing your hair colour doesn’t have to be damaging. Semi-permanent colours are available in a wide variety of shades and can be a good way to change your colour without the associated dry ends and breakage. It’s a good way to try out a new colour and it doesn’t matter if you decide that it isn’t for you, as it will wash out in between 10-20 washes.

Whilst semi-permanent colours are designed to wash out, it is still a good idea to have them applied at the hairdressers. If you leave the colour to develop for too long, it may not wash out in the way it is mean to. A hairdresser will also ensure that your application is even so that you can get a good idea of whether you like the colour. You may not want all of your hair to be coloured, in which case a hairdresser can apply highlights or tone certain sections.
