Tracksuits: Is there any place for them?

Tracksuits have earned a terrible reputation in fashion; specifically in the United Kingdom where tracksuits from major brands like Nike, Adidas and Puma are seen as the lazy attire of the chav. The chav is a lower class person who recognises the appeal of wearing brand names but didn’t quite understand that the quality and style of the piece is just as important. The stigma attached to the tracksuit has become a real area of concern for people trying to sell them to the UK market; a problem that they are trying to combat.

We see them more in adverts on television; handsome models sporting the looks as they work out or going to or from the gym, attractive women out for a fun in a pair of tracksuit bottoms. It is going to be a long fight for them though; the stigma attached has been around for a long time, but there could be a chance for them to undo that bad image.
