How did that old saying used to go? All you need is a good pair of jeans? All the fashionistas in the world will tell you the same, all the those television fashion shows with likeable presenters will say the same; “All you need is a good pair of jeans.” Well I might know as much about fashion as some of those well dressed and immaculately groomed people telling you about jeans. But for me, and millions of people like me, there’s one item that’s far more important than any other in our wardrobe.
The hoodie. Effortlessly cool, a multitude of cuts and designs and it keeps you warm. I know you couldn’t wear one to a funeral or a wedding, but it’s very easy to ‘dress up’ a hoodie. A nice haircut, freshly washed hoodie and a good pair of trousers with some nice shoes are a quick and easy way to show off, without making much effort.
