The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are on the final leg of their royal tour and they’ve just landed on the remote island cluster of Tuvalu. Demonstrating how willing they are to adapt to local customs the couple gamely donned grass skirts in order to take part in a tribal dance. Kate also wore a headpiece of flowers as she got stuck into the moves of the cultural performance which is known as Fatele.
Following the exertion William and Kate were then invited to sit on heart-shaped thrones and enjoy a celebratory meal of local delicacies. When Kate removed her skirt she revealed a floor length white, embroidered dress underneath. We don’t recognise it, but could it be another gift from the couple’s hosts or the work of a local designer? Stay tuned as we bring you more details.
