Ahhh Ibiza… The only place in the world where arriving at a party at midnight and heading home at dawn is acceptable. And last night guests including Donna Air, supermodel Leah de Wavrin, Trinny Woodall, William Orbit, and make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury made the most of that rule at Quintessentially’s Espiritu Latino party held in the beautiful setting of Aura. And it was quite some party – Latino style of course! First everyone tucked into a divine al fresco dinner of the freshest lobster, King prawns with edible sand – yes EDIBLE SAND – and five hour slow roasted lamb washed down with Grapefruit Daiquiris cocktails while traditional Spanish guitarists played in the background.
Over dinner Donna Air swapped make-up tips with Charlotte Tilbury (the lady responsible for Kate Moss’ look) before hitting the dance floor accompanied by a group of flamenco dancers as The Cuban Brothers took to the stage followed by a set by DJ A.SKillz.
And as with all the best parties on the White Isle, the last guests standing left as the sun came up.
What we ate: King prawns on edible sand, lobster and crab salad, chocolate pots with honeycomb.
What we drank: Watermelon fizz and pina Margarita cocktails.
What we listened to: The Cuban Brothers played a set.
