Yesterday may have been Hedi’s night but this morning, it’s all about Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld has already made it clear that there will be no tuxedos a la Yves Saint Laurent in his Spring Summer 2013 collection because Slimane does it so ‘immpecably’. According to WWD, the designer handed out tongue-in-chic signs during previews in Chanel’s Rue Cambon studios on Monday. ‘No Smoking Here’, the sign declares along with Karl’s illustration of a woman wearing a ‘smoking’ – the French term for tuxedo – while puffing on a cigarette. Ha! How we love a man with a sense of humour and a white pony tail.
So what WILL we see at today’s show? Classic tweed jackets and pearls? Choupette-inspired fur balls? Cara Delevigne taking centre stage? Stay tuned to Grazia Daily as we bring you all the answers LIVE from Paree!
